Circuit training is an approach to exercise in which a person moves through a series of exercises, or circuits. The exercises typically include using weights or performing movements that involve resistance. After completing one exercise, the person then moves quickly to the next. Oftentimes, a person goes from performing a movement that engages one part of the body or muscle system to a movement that works a completely different area.
